Creamy Garlic Parmesan Mushrooms
Ingredients:

1 lb (450g) mushrooms (button or cremini), cleaned and halved

2 tbsp unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup heavy cream
-
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
1/4 cup cream cheese (optional for extra creaminess)

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

1/4 tsp dried thyme (or 1 tsp fresh)

1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:

Sauté Mushrooms:

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.

Add mushrooms and sauté for about 5–7 minutes, until browned and most of the moisture has evaporated.

Add Garlic:

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Make it Creamy:
-
Reduce heat to low. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine.

Add Parmesan cheese and (optional) cream cheese. Stir until melted and smooth.

Season:

Add thyme, salt, and pepper to taste.

Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the mushrooms.

Garnish & Serve:

Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
