🦀 King Crab with Garlic Butter Toasted Loaf
🧄 Ingredients:
For the King Crab:

1.5–2 lbs king crab legs (steamed or pre-cooked)

4 tbsp unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic (minced)

1 tbsp lemon juice
-
1 tsp lemon zest
-
1 tsp chili flakes (optional)

Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste
For the Bread:

1 French loaf or sourdough baguette
-
3 tbsp butter (softened)
-
1 garlic clove (minced)
-
1 tbsp fresh parsley (finely chopped)

Pinch of sea salt
🔪 Instructions:
1. Prepare the Bread:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Mix the softened butter, garlic, parsley, and a pinch of salt.

Slice the loaf lengthwise or into thick slices.
-
Spread garlic butter over the cut side of the bread.
-
Toast in the oven for 8–10 minutes until golden and crispy.
2. Prepare the King Crab:

If using pre-cooked king crab, steam or boil for 5 minutes to heat through.

Cut crab legs open using kitchen shears and extract the meat (optional: serve in shell for presentation).

In a pan, melt butter over medium heat.

Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add lemon juice, zest, and chili flakes.

Add crab meat and gently toss to coat (1–2 minutes).

Season with salt, pepper, and chopped parsley.
3. Assemble & Serve:

Option 1: Pile warm king crab meat on top of each toasted bread slice.

Option 2: Serve the buttery crab in a bowl with the garlic loaf on the side for dipping.

Optional: Drizzle extra garlic butter over the top.
