Napoleon in a Glass β Easy Recipe
π° Ingredients (Serves 4)
For the Cream Layer:

2 cups (480 ml) whole milk

Β½ cup (100 g) sugar

ΒΌ cup (30 g) cornstarch

4 egg yolks

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp butter
(OR use store-bought vanilla pudding or custard for a shortcut!)
For the Layers:

1 sheet puff pastry (store-bought), baked and crumbled

Fresh berries (strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries) β optional
-
Powdered sugar β for garnish

1. Make the Pastry Cream (if making from scratch):

In a saucepan, whisk together milk, sugar, cornstarch, and egg yolks.

Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened (5β7 minutes).

Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and butter. Let cool completely.
2. Prepare Puff Pastry:

Bake 1 sheet of puff pastry according to package instructions (usually 400Β°F / 200Β°C for ~15 minutes until golden).

Let cool, then crumble into flaky pieces.
3. Assemble the Glasses:
In small glasses or dessert cups, layer the following:

Crumbled puff pastry

Pastry cream

Optional berries

Repeat the layers once more

Top with a few puff pastry flakes and a dusting of powdered sugar
4. Chill:
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Serve cold.
