For the Chicken:
-
6–8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (about 2 lbs)

Salt and pepper, to taste
-
1 tbsp olive oil or neutral oil
For the Honey Garlic Sauce:
-
¼ cup honey
-
3 tbsp soy sauce (low-sodium preferred)
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
-
½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
-
1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (for thickening, optional)
🔪 Instructions:
1. Season and Sear the Chicken:
-
Pat chicken thighs dry. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

-
Return chicken to the skillet, turning to coat in sauce.
-
Cover and simmer for 10–15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).
-
For thicker sauce, stir in cornstarch slurry and simmer 1–2 minutes more.

-
Spoon extra sauce over chicken.
