🍄 Crispy Garlic Mushroom Bites

🧾 Ingredients
For the mushrooms:

16 oz (450g) button or cremini mushrooms, cleaned and stems trimmed

2–3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

Salt & black pepper, to taste

Optional: ½ tsp smoked paprika or chili flakes for a kick
For the crispy coating:

¾ cup breadcrumbs (Panko for extra crunch)

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp dried parsley or Italian seasoning
For dredging:

½ cup all-purpose flour

2 eggs, beaten
Optional dips:

Garlic aioli

Ranch dressing

Spicy mayo

Marinara sauce
🔪 Instructions
1. Preheat oven or air fryer:

Oven: 425°F (220°C), line a baking sheet with parchment and lightly oil it.

Air Fryer: 390°F (200°C), lightly oil the basket.
2. Season the mushrooms:

Toss mushrooms in a bowl with olive oil (or butter), garlic, salt, pepper, and optional paprika or chili flakes. Let sit for 5–10 minutes.
3. Prepare breading station:

Place flour in one bowl.

Beat eggs in a second bowl.

In a third bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and herbs.
4. Bread the mushrooms:

Dredge each mushroom in flour, then dip into egg, then roll in the breadcrumb-Parmesan mix. Press crumbs in lightly to help them stick.
5. Cook the bites:
Oven method:

Place breaded mushrooms on the baking sheet.

Spray or drizzle lightly with oil.

Bake for 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
Air fryer method:

Place mushrooms in a single layer in the basket.

Air fry for 10–12 minutes, shaking once, until crispy and browned.
