BBQ Grilled Salmon with Lemon & Herbs

Ingredients:

4 salmon fillets (skin-on, about 6 oz each)

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp lemon juice (fresh)

2 cloves garlic (minced)

1 tsp salt
-
1/2 tsp black pepper
-
1 tsp dried or fresh dill (or thyme/parsley)

Lemon slices (for garnish)

Optional: a dash of smoked paprika or chili flakes for heat
Instructions:

Prep the salmon:

Pat salmon fillets dry.

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, and dill.

Brush the mixture generously over the salmon.

Preheat the grill:

Heat to medium-high (~400°F / 200°C).

Oil the grates well to prevent sticking.

Grill the salmon:

Place salmon skin-side down on the grill.
-
Grill 6–8 minutes without flipping (lid closed).

Flip carefully and grill the flesh side for another 2–3 minutes until it flakes easily.

Garnish with lemon slices and fresh herbs.
