🧄 Ingredients:
-
2 lobster tails (5–6 oz each)
-
1/4 cup (60g) unsalted butter, melted
-
3 garlic cloves, minced
-
1 tablespoon lemon juice (plus lemon wedges for serving)
-
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (or regular)
-
Salt and black pepper, to taste
-
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
-
Optional: pinch of crushed red pepper flakes
🔪 Instructions:
1. Prep the Lobster Tails:
-
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
-
Using kitchen shears, cut the top shell of the lobster tails lengthwise down the middle.
-
Gently pull the meat out, resting it on top of the shell (but still attached at the base). This is called the “piggyback” method.
2. Make Garlic Butter:
-
In a small bowl, mix:
-
Melted butter
-
Minced garlic
-
Lemon juice
-
Paprika
-
Salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
-
3. Brush and Bake:
-
Place lobster tails on a baking sheet or oven-safe dish.
-
Brush generously with the garlic butter.
-
Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and slightly firm to the touch.
-
(Internal temperature should be 135–140°F / 57–60°C.)
-
4. Finish & Serve:
-
Drizzle with more garlic butter.
-
Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon wedges.
-
Serve with rice, pasta, or crusty bread.
